Some suggestions:

  • Presentations should be 20 min long, leaving 10 min for discussions. A good rule of thumb is 2 minutes per (content-filled) overhead.
  • For students (not just those taking it for credit), please talk to your advisor and/or mentoring committee about the paper selection, and encourage them to come to your talk and give you feedback.
  • Typically people present recent papers, but we also encourage classic papers, especially those relevant to important new results.
  • Please select your paper carefully. Consult a local expert if you are unsure about the quality of the paper. Don't limit yourself to the most recent posting.
  • Please send to us for posting your title and the link to the paper at least a week in advance.
